In the previous visit to this fabulous home near Charleston, SC, we concluded with the majority of the decorative items hung and positioned.
Check out part 1 - Refresh Your Vacation Property in a Weekend

Well... we're back to add some color to the walls and finish up with the final decorations to complete our efforts. This home is almost ready to come to life. Being this is a vacation property we can add wall color that gives a bold statement yet still feels inviting and serene. This will not only complement the décor but will also reflect our personal style and the mood we want to create. In addition to painting, we are excited to incorporate the final decorative elements that will tie everything together.
As we embark on this final stage of our decorating journey, we want to ensure that each piece is not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically placed to maximize visual impact and functionality. With the right colors and decorations, we are confident that each room will transform into a vibrant and welcoming space for all that come to visit.

Bamboo blinds are a favorite of mine. They bring texture, warmth and life into any room. They are the perfect choice in this space that balance the floor color and add so much character.

I chose Behr's Watery HDC-CT-26 for the walls, as it provides a subtle blue tint without overwhelming the room. This maintains a traditional Charleston vibe with a touch of beachy flair. I used this color to highlight specific walls in different areas. Given the home's smaller size, I opted for simplicity by keeping some of the original white walls and using this shade as an accent, which brought a flow throughout the house.
Guest Bedroom #1
Bringing together the dimensional art piece above the headboard, the large wall print, and accent pillows, the painted wall behind the bed served as the ideal display for additional color in this room. It truly brought the room to life.

Guest Bedroom #2

Once again in Guest Bedroom #2, we maintained the house's consistency by highlighting the wall behind the bed. The greenery and accents remain ideal. This room is a favorite among everyone. It truly possesses a unique charm.

Guest Bedroom #3
This now brings us to the Main Bedroom where the accents were still coming together from the previous visit.

I opted to keep the room white as it best showcased the furniture. The wall art above the headboard adds blue tones, enhanced by a full length mirror and some greenery, achieving a stunning effect.

To paint or not to paint the bathrooms.... Why not do a little of both.
Guest Bath #1 - This one kept the walls white.

Guest Bath #2 - Went all in and painted in full.

Guest Bath #3 - Complimented this bath with the main large wall

Every corner of this home has been finished with an attention to detail that speaks to a quaint getaway, awaiting your presence. The harmonious blend of textures, colors, and materials throughout the home, create a serene environment that is both inviting and inspiring, making it a true sanctuary for its occupants.
